Let’s dissipate a myth and a misconception among the Left that persists despite years of literally being face to face with the correct answer:

Republicans in Congress are not refusing to impeach or participate in 25th Amendment proceedings because they are cowards, “too afraid to stand up to him.”

They refuse to do so because they ARE him. Or, more precisely, Trump is them.

Trump executes everything that congressional Republicans want. He embodies and emits the id, the darkest inner fantasies, the ruthlessness and the lack of character that congressional Republicans were sent to Washington to collectively act upon and carry out.

Trump is their reflector, their projection screen. He is their marionette. With very few exceptions, Trump has no policy ideas of his own. He is the executor of whatever evil ambitions the congressional Republicans, and MAGA, deliver to his desk, and he will do so without question.

Trump is the reflection of their own group pose in the bathroom mirror. In a very real sense, he is their follower more than their leader, as he does their will without any reflection of his own.

And they will never impeach or vote to remove their own reflection.
