Where is sexual perversion really found in shocking abundance? MAGA churches, of course.

One of the most politically militant MAGA church denominations is the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Not to be confused with the older, larger, mainline Presbyterian USA, this denomination tends be astonishingly militant because many PCA leaders believe in the “dominion mandate.” Fancying themselves as “God’s vice-regents” in the same way that radical Islamists do, they believe that they are divinely commanded to subdue the entire world by government force.

But they have a bit of an image problem. The Presbyterian Church in America Has an Abuse Crisis Too.

Another MAGA church, and MAGA for the same reasons as the PCA, is the Christian Reformed Church. Yet an internal (yes, internal!) investigation found that almost a quarter of the Christian Reformed Church has suffered from abuse.

The Southern Baptist Convention, yet another MAGA totalitarian church under the tutelage of America’s pee-pee policeman Albert Mohler, has become the latest high-profile sex abuse scandal in far right churches. This scandal is serious enough that the Department of Justice is looking into it. No wonder MAGA wants to defund or eliminate the DOJ.

Assemblies of God, another politically militant MAGA denomination, also shows up on the sexual abuse radar: Father Sues Assemblies of God for Alleged Abuse of Teen.

Yet another MAGA denomination, the Anglican Church in North America which severed ties with the Episcopal Church over the latter’s embrace of the LGBTQ community, was found not to have acted on tips on allegations of sexual misconduct and abuse.

Not to be outdone, the Institute of Basic Life Principles, which Josh Duggar followed, has almost built a worldview out of abuse. Duggar, lest we forget, was receiving child pornography and feeling up four of his younger sisters while acting as executive director of the MAGA hate group FRC Action.

The explanation for this correlation is simple. MAGA churches cannot stop obsessing over other people’s pee-pees. They spend every waking hour fretting over how other people put their genitalia to use.

When the obsession is that strong and all-consuming, it stands to reason that some will be unable to resist acting out – especially when they attain positions of power over others.
